Committing To A Session.....
Before You do A Boudoir Session...
READ THIS!
Doing a Boudoir Session is a Huge Deal! For most women it is something they only do once in their life if Ever! They join Boudoir groups, look at others photos, buy lingerie, get excited, then decide to do it! Then decide nope I am not doing it! For some, it is a constant battle within because again it is a Huge deal! You are about to come out of your Comfort zone and do something Exciting! Something Empowering! Something New! Something scary AF!! BUT... YOU can do it! And you will be happier than ever once you Do! YOU Deserve this!
When Choosing your Boudoir Photographer, You must ask yourself many questions, as well as your Photographer. Here are a few that I would like you to consider.
1. Do I connect with the photographer?
There is nothing worse than having to get vulnerable in front of someone that you cannot connect with. And often You will talk to assistant of some sort and never connect with the photographer until it is time for your session and now you have to be comfortable with a total stranger. I do not do this and no I do not agree with it.
2. What kind of Experience do you want? What kind of experience does the
Photographer provide? Does this align?
3. Have you seen their work? Making sure that the photographer you choose has many different images and many different types of images. This is important! You don't want your photos to look just like Sally's images right?
4. What are you Getting for the price? Sure, you can get a photoshoot for a cheaper price from one photographer but the other photographer might have better images, better variety, better and more sets, client closet, professional hair and makeup, provide jewelry etc.
I am the other photographer
So be clear on the value of your session.
To me it is about the experience, not just getting a few boudie pics real quick.
5. Does the Photographer you are choosing have a Photography contract? Image release contract? A business license?
If not, they are Not a professional and you are not protected in any way if something goes wrong.
6. Do they have Client Testimonial's? This is very important! If you are not seeing what others are saying about their experience then you may want to reconsider. If no one is talking about their amazing Experience it is probably because they did not have one.
7. What is the minimum investment?
Almost every Professional Boudoir photographer has a minimum investment ($ amount that you are required to purchase by contract!) Even if you do not like any of the images! This is huge because it is usually in the thousands and most women have no idea that this exists.
I will stop there. For now
Just consider these things when deciding who to trust for Your Special Day! Of Course... I do hope that you choose me, but if not I am still extremely happy for You and proud of you for getting the hell outta your comfort zone! And I just want to make sure that You have an Amazing Experience
